Our target
We aim for Orblite — the website and the app you sign in to — to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is the standard we build to. It is a target, not a claim: Orblite has not yet been audited against it by anyone outside the company.
What we check before every change
Before any change goes live, automated checks confirm that text and the edges of controls meet WCAG's contrast ratios in both light and dark mode; that every button and link is at least 24 by 24 pixels on a phone-sized screen; that every page has a link to skip straight to its content, usable from the keyboard; that the counselor tells a screen reader when a reply arrives, and that the onboarding questions are labelled and move focus to each new question; and that animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion.
What is not there yet
We have not tested every screen with every screen reader or every kind of assistive technology. The counselor writes each reply fresh, so we cannot check its wording in advance the way we check the rest of the page. A document you download is a plain Word file, and how accessible it is depends on the program you open it in.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If anything on Orblite doesn't work for you — with a screen reader, the keyboard, zoom, colours, or anything else — email hello@orblite.ai with "Accessibility" in the subject and the page you were on. A person reads it, and we will work with you on another way to get what you need while we fix it.
